| Ed is a 1973 graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Business and Political Science degree. He earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Strassford University, and is the owner of W Associates, Inc., an Insurance and Financial Planning Company.
He has been a member of the Rotary Club of Asheville-West for over twenty years, and has held many positions in his club, including President in 1994095. Ed has served at the District level as an Assistant Governor, District Grants Subcommittee Chair, World Community Service Chair, Rotary Volunteer Chair, and GSE Committee Chair. Ed is a Paul Harris Fellow, Benefactor, Major Donor, and charter member of District 7670’s Paul Harris Society. Ed is married to Margaret, who currently works in the field of medicine. They have one daughter, Jennifer, a former Rotary Youth Exchange Student to Germany, and a granddaughter named Peyton. Every family member is a Paul Harris Fellow.
